"Shiva. " Auggie said calmly, from behind him.
"You're a snake. Are you going to die again if we don't go someplace warm?"

"We are going to the hotel fright now." He said, and looked down at the map. Two blocks away.
The back of his knees started to shake, and he physically shook his head to wave away the feeling.
Two more blocks.

For the first time in this entire trip, Shiva was lagging behind.
Keri had never seen Shiva look so weak, his knees were shaking and his breaths were labored.
"Cmon Shiva," Keri urged, gently taking his shoulder.
"You can do it. We're almost there. "

"I'm fine." He said, turning the corner. "It's a block away. You should be looking out for danger."

"Oh pashaw. If something was gonna attack us it'd have done it a long time ago. "
Wow. Keri had said 'pashaw' that was new.

"I know you're being ridiculous now let's go. " With that, Keri took Shiva's shoulder again and led the group through the cold streets.

Shiva silently continued to walk, which turned into a labored-half jog that took him as fast as if he was walking.
THe Hotel appeared in shimmering glory, thirty stories tall, two golden lions guarding the entrance.
Upon entrance, everyone's jaws dropped.
A two-story tall shimmering statue of a wave made of tile sat behind the counter, water pouring down into a pool, and the raised glass formed the bottom of the welcome desk, white and gold wood forming the top.
The statue touched the top of the glass floor of the third floor, where what looked like a wild dance party was going on.
The floor was dark, polished wood, and a golden threaded carpet welcomed them, leading them to the front desk, and white, gold, and dark brown couches welcomed them to the grand estate.
The looks of the place were great, but what mattered most to him was that it was WARM. He could feel his energy come back slowly.
The man at the desk looked up.
"Do you have a reservation?"
"Name Snow?" Shiva said, standing up
"I have your room keys here." He said. "Payment has already been put down, enjoy your stay, and feel free to alert room staff at any time."

Keri's hopes were instantly lifted. Someone payed for them!? But who was snow? Would this be used as blackmail to get them to do things for "Snow"? It'd happened before. "Are you feeling better Shiva?" Keri asked gently, rubbing his back.
Meanwhile, Selina was darting around, looking in the gift shop window, the place even had a candy shop, and Selina was taking all of it in.
Auggie and Felina were picking pennies out of the fountain, laughing and ended up being chased away by a worker.

"C'mon, let;s get in the elevator." He said calmly, ignoring Keri, gently hearding the group towards a glass elevator. "We are on the sixth floor."

Keri pressed the up button, and Selina was like a jar of angry crickets, jumping up and down as the elevator came to their floor.
When it got there, a ding dang out and they filed on. It was quite pretty. The walls were a pretty chrome, there were railings too, also a pretty material Keei couldn't place, and each button, despite it being pressed all day every day, was shining.
"What floor shiva?" Keri asked.

Keri pressed the six button and the elevator short up, giving the group an unfamiliar feeling of their stomachs dropping. Auggie looked like he was going to vomit, as he had a very sensitive stomach. But just as soon as it began, it ended and the doors opened to the sixth floor.
It was just as spectacular as the lobby, the floors were shiny ivory and not carpet like in cheap hotels, there was a small table at the end of the hall with an arrangement of beautiful flowers, matching the hotel's color scheme.
"W-Which room?" Keri stammered.

"Sixteen." He said, checking the number on the key.
