Shiva glanced east, his ears picking up people talking.
The kids.
"They're that way."

Keri turned the direction Shiva pointed and looked at a bird flying overhead.
"What were the rules?" Keri asked curiously, pushing a branch out of their path.

Keri kicked a pine cone out of her way.
"I said she must be gay. The only reason I can think she wouldn't want a shirtless guy on her couch. "
A drop of rain fell on Keri's nose, she brushed it away absentmindedly and pulled up her hood. They had to get back. Couldn't leave the kids in the rain.

Selina and Auggie tried to pry Felina off Shia.
"FEEELINNNAAAA!" Selina whined. "We wanna see Shivaaaaa!!"
It was drizzling now, just enough to speckle their hoodies a darker shade.
"I hate to interrupt the reunion. " Keri sighed. "But we need to get a room. And I mean a hotel room-not romantically. "
