Keri crashed through the balcony door, panting and brushing windswept hair out of her eyes.
"G-Get your things!" she huffed.
"We're going! NOW!"

"Jesus Keri! What's the rush? And where's Shiva?" She asked, looking behind her in the moment she forgot he couldn't fly.
That's when she saw the explosion.
It reached past the trees, and car alarms were going off by the street ton.

Keri whipped around and rushed to the balcony, getting as close as the railing woulf allow.
people all over the city had stopped to look for the explosion, and Keri could see a few cops look up in confusion.
"Shiva..."
Keri's eyes were wide, and she snapped back to reality.
"Selina! Auggie! Get your things! Felina, you're gonna be on my back, we're going to get Shiva."

Keri shoved things into the backpack, not having the heart or energy to tell them Shiva was the one blown up.
Keri left a twenty dollar bill on the dresser along with their room key, no time to double check.
"GO!" She shouted to the kids. "Stay above the clouds! I'll be there in a second!"
They nodded and took off the balcony, the two kid's wings gracefully soaring up higher and higher above the clouds.
"Okay Felina." I said, allowing her to hop onto my back.

Keri took off into the sky, supporting Felina by intertwining her arms under her legs.
The kids were circling a few yards away and Keri headed for them.
"Alright. We head north and don't stop until I say okay!?" Keri shouted to them, the nodded as if they understood.
Even Selina looked serious, she knew just how bad of a situation this was.
"okay."

"Quiet pussy cat. " Keri muttered, and the three kids shot off through the sky.
She felt her muscles in her shoulders contracting, working hard to flap her wings and keep her aloft.
Keri tied her hair back as she flew, to better keep it out of Felina's face.
They Glided on the cool afternoon winds, but regained speed instantly.
Selina and Auggie jerked up to avoid a large building that would expose them to anyone inside if they flew too close, and Keri followed after.

"North, I left shiva on a country road by a black van. We're going to have to fly pretty quickly so let's not chat too much okay?"
Keri didn't say anything after and rushed off, the tips of her wings brushed the soft clouds just below her.
They flew so fast, clouds gently scattered underneath them, swirling away gracefully.

"That's cool." She said, taking another deep breath.
Felina was hilt for speed, agility and sneaking in and out. What she WASN'T made for was FLIGHT.
Her regular lungs- well, not bird lungs. Who knew how normal her lungs were- weren't built for being up at high altitudes, so to stay conscious she had to take huge gulps of air.
"We're goin' to see explosions! Whoooo!"

Keri's eyes flicked behind her to check on Felina.
She couldn't stay that way for long though,she quickly looked back to the skies.
Below them, country roads rolled into view, golden yellow colors painting the grounds.
Keri caught sight of something burning.
The van!
"There!" She shouted.
Keri ducked down, rocketing twoards the ground quicker than a fighter jet.
Behind her, Selina and Auggie tucked their wings behind them and went down in a nose dive.

Casual walk in the woods, I said.
Stress reliver. I said.
It would be nice to see a bit into the modern world for a whiteout it being a rushed trip, I said.
A great time to serching out potential hunting spots, I said.
Any thoughts of finally going out after finally settling down were thrown down the drain when Saffron heard the yelling.
She snapped open her wings and lept into the air, and saw the two yelling, and she squinted at the guy, who was currently yelling at some girl to 'Just Go'.
Saffron watched the girl fly away when he slammed the door, and then burst out the back, and staggered against the tree.
The tree she was in.
She whistled as he threw the match in the car.
Lil' shit's going to blow himself into the next town.
Save him and risk threatening her security?
Get away, save food, supplies, ensure safety-
But Saffy was CRISTIAN now, you're supposed to save people even if it means them killing you, which made no sense to her, but whatever gets her soul outta hell.

"AAAAAAAAlright " she groaned, her thick russian accent apparent even through this small exchange of words, jumping out of the tree and opening her snow white wings.
That's when she recognized him.
Well, anyone would look a bit different if they were pale as all hell, and bleeding out.

She stopped when she realized she was swearing.
Can't do that anymore.
OOOOOOOOkay.
This was interesting. He was talking to people and not killing them. All new.
She put him on her back and flew up, just as the car tank exploded.
"WHOOOOOOOOOO!" She yelled, and flew into a spin, when she dropped him, a few papers fluttering out of the bag as she dove.
"CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP" she said, snatching him out of the air as she swooped up.
"Let's get you back."

The group skidded to a halt on the ground, Keri lowered Felina on the ground carefully.
"SHIVA!?" She shouted, cupping her hands over her mouth.
"Selina! Auggie!" Keri shouted, scaring them a bit.
"Back to the skies! Look for Shiva okay!"
Selina and Auggie darted forward, unfurling their wings and taking back off.
"SHIVA!!"
