Felina ant full-on predator mode, blocking out her unuseful scents as she tracked him, following the trail as she picked out his scent among that of burning plants and blood.
As much as she hated getting dirty, she bent down and continued smelling
"I picked up his scent." She reported.

Keri nodded and sent up a signal to the kids, sending them speeding down.
"Where?"

She walked over a bit, then walked next to the trail. Keeping her brain focused and talking at the same time is very difficult.
"Here...........here, is concentrated........moves west............." She said, then took off running, snapping out of it. "He's movin' towards the town! It's fairly recent!"

Keri scooped up Felina, and followed the kids up into the sky.
"Allright where to?!"

"Lemme check." She said, and focused again.
She smelled, and in her head, she turned the traces of scent into people, and people I to scenes as they played out.
Walked, Dragged himself, fell, explosion.
Wait.
She took a deep breath in, and she picked up the scent of SOMETHING else.
Or, rather, someone.
She hissed.
A unknown hybrid.
And the grass showed signs of a struggle.
Apparently she was the only one who noticed.
Then, Felina's heart went cold as she stopped smelling Shiva's scent entirely.
She snapped out of focus, and her mind raced.
She couldn't tell Keri Shiva could be.....dead.
She would be devistated.
Felina just had to lead her on a trail......and then just say she lost it.
She would believe it, and wouldn't have to go through the pain. She knew how torn up Keri would be.
Loosing a scent would be easy in the middle of a crowd.

Keri nodded, determination flooding her eyes as she signaled to the other kids.
The trio swooped down, through the clouds as the city came back into view.
Keri landed them in an alley way and set Felina down as Selina crashed onto a dumpster after Auggie.
"Allright. The center? Can you tell us we're that would be?" Keri asked, smoothing her wings aginst her back and pulling on her leather jacket.

They trailed behind Felina cautiously, Keri keeping her eyes out for anyone who could work at Ocir, and Selina and Auggie looked for Shiva.
Keri chewed at her fingernails.
She shouldn't have left Shiva, if she'd stayed they wouldn't be in this mess.
Keri was so stupid! How could she?! She wouldn't just LEAVE Selina! Shiva was one of them!

"Keri, c'mon- I already said I lost the scent hours ago- we need to sleep."

"No Felina! Shiva is one of us! Would you leave Selina behind!?"
At this, Selina frowned.
"She wouldn't Selina, relax. " Keri muttered.
"We're going to look all night if that's what it takes! You can drop out any time now! We stick together!"
The streets had thinned Down to a few people strolling out of stores to head home.
Keri knew she couldn't keep looking. The kids were getting tired and wouldn't be able to stay as vigilant.

"I'm just saying, you know, we probalby should...get going." she said, putting her arms out in a "What Can You Do" gesture, and rolled her eyes.
Mostly to stop the tears from rolling down her face.

Keri softened a bit, she nodded.
"Alright. Cmon guys, up and away. We'll patrol from the skies. "
Keri hoisted Felina up and shot off into the starry night with th kids.
