Shiva kept silent.
The kid that spoke sounded a lot like....like Con.
He kind of looked like him too, because....because of....
He suddenly felt sick inside.
Why couldn't he remember why they looked alike.
"Hey, Keri. Did you know, that flying three feet above ground is the best way to go?" He whispered.
He made eye contact with her, in hopes she would know what was going on.
"Especially in about ten minutes."

Selina opened her mouth to speak.
"Don't repeat that." Keri cut her off quickly.
Keri quickly turned back to Shiva.
"You're not gonna die again right?"

"Snake. Aspidelaps Lubricus, to be precise."
He could feel the plastic melting off the bars already, eating their way through the metal.
This wasn't a normal heat lamp. Selina planted it.
This was the plan the whole time.
Selina provided the building's plans, and all he had to do was live through the night without the light.
It was all a gamble on his strength and will to live.
He was risking the plan by freeing them, but it would have to do.

Keri opened her mouth, when a scientist opened up the cage door, poking Auggie's wing with a yard stick.
"Out. Breakfast time."
The freak show filed out one at a time, with Auggie in the lead so no one would see his face. His idea, not anyone else's.
Selina followed, and then Felina.
"Cmon. Lets go." Keri said,tugging at Shiva's white hospital gown.
((just a note they are all in white hospital gowns/scrubs they'll change into the clothes you typed up on their CS when they escape))

He looked back, and made sure the heater was still running.
It was.
By the time they got back, the cage would be busted.
Not exactly according to plan, but it would have to do.

We were led into the mess hall, where we were each given a small tray of food. Most was tasteless and perfectly square, shoved full of protein and vitamins we'd need.
Keri stared at her plate, but didn't object, and started scarfing down their food.
All of them did.
Auggie's head was down, but he ate anyways, Selina's grey hair was falling km her food, and Felina was eating like a lady, but a fast lady.
Nutrition was a privilege, not a right, and more often than not it was taken away from them.

Shiva looked at the plate sideways.
What was that.
He saw everyone else eating it, so he tried some.
Long story short, it tasted horrible.
Only, about, two shades below what he had before, and sixty shades below "unnaceptable for human beings"
If they escaped, he was going to go strai-
Straight to where?
He saw a logo in his mind, but he couldn't place it. And the more he thought about it, the more it faded away.
He shook his head to stop thinking about it, and ate the food calmly, finishing after everyone else.
