((A bit if a timehop on Shiva's part))
A mile or so away, Shiva had disarmed the weapons, and somehow dismantled them, throwing the pieces to the wind, tearing up the wires and burying other pieces.
He only noticed he was bleeding when he went to unzip the bag, and the straps were stained red, and his fingernails were red.
He wiped the blood on his gown, and he tried to ignore the pulling in his mouth of his fangs extending.
As soon as he was sure his only company was the birds, he donned the clothes inside.
A white, generic t-shirt, and a dark grey hoodie, only marked with a check mark at the bottom, and a even smaller letter 'c' with a circle around it.
((For those of you who are blind: it's the Nike swoosh w/ a copyright symbol))
Baggy cargo pants and dirty black, red, and grey shoes donned later, he started off, following the lingering scent of the bird kids.
Felina, Auggie, Selina, and Keri, huh?
That seemed less then his original group of six.
Or was it seven? Or eight?
He leaned up against a tree as his mind whirled.
Faces and names blurred together like a six year old was going wild with the 'blurr' tool with his memories, taking away what he knew beyond the infill able void of the past eighteen years of his life.
Kimizuki, Ax, Josephine.... Sahara?
Sahara.... Sahra....Sarah?
Kimizuki....Kimzuki...Kimzu....Kim?
Ax...Axe....Axel?
Names were blurring together, and he was doubting himself.
A gasped intake of breath, and he could take in the smell of his own fear.
He forced himself to calm down and continued walking. They could fly much faster then he could walk, and he was only loosing time.
"The doctors are here for your safety, please let them know if their is a problem in your new home! We are here to help..." The woman droned.
He wished now more then ever that he could take them off and just enjoy the sound of the nature.
His feet fell in front of the other, and soon, he looked down, and saw he was running.
The scent wasn't growing fainter, so he assumed he was catching up again.
When the sun reached noon, he could find himself out of energy.
He wandered to a large, slow-moving stream wandered around. He wandered to the edge, where a sandy point bar sat, small grains glistening in the sun, warm and begging him to lay down.
He felt his eyes grow heavy at the thought.
Only a half hour here could keep him warm for a while. Shiva thought, seeing a large boulder in the middle of the stream. He hopped across stones, the strings of his hoodie bouncing against his chest as he walked. He could always catch up to the kids in a while....
He landed on the dark rock, and still-bloody fingers touched the smooth surface of the rock.
He didn't know where to put the bag, since it was full of his hospital gown and some other random items he had yet to examine.
He took out the town and lept back a few rocks, and with little strength, ripped the fabric in half, hiding one torn half under a large rock upstream, and another further down in a seemingly random pattern.
The water wold wash away the blood, and the dark, loose silt would stain the color behind recognition soon.
He placed the bag on the rock, then fell on top of it, laying his hands over the side of the rock, and soon he could almost feel his blood warming to a almost human-like degree as the dark hoodie absorbed the heat of the midday sun.
